The Group was founded in Paris, by two brothers trading under the family name of Bonetti Freres. The company produced and marketed pharmaceutical and hygiene products: the antimalarial drug Arsichimin, and the beauty cremeDiadermine.

The Diadermine product was launched on the market and became a huge success.
During the 1930s, Diadermine became a household name, the favorite beauty creme of the era's screen goddesses.

Between 1930s and 1940s, the Diadermine brand broadened its produce range to include cosmetics such as pressed powder and body care products like talc, toothpaste, hand cream and sunscreens.

Around that time, the Group began distributing the famous solid mascara, Ricil's.

The birth of Deborah makeup. Up till then restricted to the luxury cosmetics market, Deborah launched the first truly affordable automatic mascara wand.
A dream come true for women of all ages, everywhere. Beauty was now a pleasure within easy reach. Deborah never failed to stay abreast of the social and cultural changes taking place in Italy, first teaming up with big-name designers like Krizia, Versace and Fiorucci, and then becoming a permanent sponsor of the Miss Italy beauty pageant.

The market welcomes Deborah's new make-up range called Debby, targeted primarily at the teen market, but also appealing to the young at heart. Theultimate makeup for women who like to try out different looks.

Bioetyc enters the scene: a treatment range that marks the Group's return to the wellbeing and body care market.

Deborah Group launches France's legendary lipstick brand, Rouge Baiser, onthe Italian market.

Creation of the Group's Pharma&Care Division, allocating major investmentsto the pharmaceutical channel, with the distribution
of the company's new Health&Color range
of products.
